This online course offers you knowledge through multiple channels of learning. The basis of this online course is the textbook ‘Lean in practice’ and ‘Six Sigma in practice’, supported by videos, photos, exercises and quiz questions.

To get started, all you need to do is click on lesson 1 below in the lesson overview. After each lesson you will have to complete a short quiz, which will unlock the next lesson. If you come back to this page, you can select any lesson that you have already completed.

Each lesson consists of videos, text and illustrations through which you will learn about the Lean philosophy, methods and tools at the level of Green Belt, as described in the ISO 18404 standards for Lean Six Sigma competencies.

Some lessons will contain a prompt for you to complete a separate short online course before advancing. These mini-courses offer in-depth understanding of a specific subject, such as 5S or Kaizen Events, and will open in a separate window. After completing these, you should return to the Green Belt course.

Exams will take place at regularly scheduled times. Completing this online course will give you access to the proctored online exam. More information on this will follow at the end of the course.

The exams are taken on fixed dates and times. You can register for a specific date and time slot that is most convenient to you – please also indicate in which language you would like to take the exam.

The exam can be taken in any of the following languages: English, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese or Turkish.

Once you submit your form, you will receive a confirmation mail with the time you have registered.

Shortly before the actual exam, you will receive your personal username and password. You can use these to log in to our exam platform.

Please store your username and password carefully, you will need them for the exam! Please do not change you username and password before the exam.

Note: 15 minutes prior to the start of the theoretical exam you will receive the actual link to the exam and the corresponding exam code. Also, you will receive an invitation to join a mandatory meeting (the tool Zoho Meeting is used). For auditing and legitimacy reasons, you will be required to attend this virtual meeting during your exam with use of your laptop camera in order to make sure you make the exam by yourself.

After submitting your answers, you will immediately receive your results. A passing grade means you can download your certificate and will be ready for the next step: the practical assignment.
