You will also learn how to use the Analytic Hierarchy Processing tool, which is used to assign weight factors to criteria by comparing them to each other in regards to relevance. These weighting factors can then be used as input for your Decision or Pugh Matrix.

Maybe nice to mention that the Pugh matrix can also be used with other numbers (-2, +2) as mentioned in the book 'Six Sigma in de praktijk'. Also the set up of criteria column and solution row was different. If it is mentioned that different set-ups of these same decision makings tools are possible, people know in advance that it can be somewhat different of what they have read or practiced before.
